50
At the conclusion of a completely different logo project, where the number '50' held significant meaning, I found myself intrigued by the direction it was taking. I decided to turn this concept into a spin-off, giving it new purpose and meaning. This time, I wanted to pay homage to the moon landing, coinciding with its 50th anniversary.
Elements
The rocket
The monumental achievement of space exploration, specifically the iconic moon landing. It symbolizes human innovation, ambition, and the groundbreaking journey to the moon.
The smoke forming the ribbon
Fluidity and movement, representing the trail of progress and the journey that humanity undertook in reaching new frontiers. The ribbon itself is a symbol of celebration and achievement, highlighting the success of the Apollo mission.
The number "50"
Direct reference to the 50th anniversary of the moon landing.
Colors
Red
Bold, dynamic color often associated with energy, passion, and excitement. In this logo, it represents the powerful force of the rocket launching into space, evoking a sense of strength, determination, and ambition.
White
Clarity, purity, and a sense of vastness. In the context of this logo, the white background (or in contrast to the red) helps emphasize the rocket and smoke design, creating a clean, striking visual that draws attention to the main elements. White also alludes to the emptiness of space, further tying the logo to the theme of the moon landing.
